Community Chorus headlines August 2 Stars in the Park

The Farmington Community Chorus will perform songs with an “action” theme during the Thursday, August 2, Stars in the Park concert, held in the amphitheater at Heritage Park in Farmington Hills.

The chorus’ 60 members perform under the direction of Steve SeGraves, who has led the ensemble for more than 20 years. He also directs the 45-voice Langsford Men’s Chorus.

The 7 p.m. concert will showcase many lively songs, with Jennifer Gale accompanying the chorus on the piano with favorites like “Since I Fell for You,” “You Made Me Love You,” and “Swinging on a Star.”

Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, the exclusive sponsor of the summer concerts, will offer a random raffle drawing for concert goers to win a Mercedes-Benz driving experience. Attendees (21 years or older with a valid U.S. driver’s license) may enter by visiting the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services vehicle display during each concert. The winner will be announced at the August 16 concert.
