City of Farmington Hills needs election inspectors

If you’re looking for an opportunity to serve your community and earn some extra money, Farmington Hills City Clerk Pam Smith would like to hear from you.

Smith is seeking highly motivated individuals to work the November 6 State General Election. Computer experience is preferred but not required. Inspectors can expect a fast-paced work environment and working as part of a team to process voters at the precincts on Election Day.

Inspectors should be 18 years of age on or before Election Day and are required to be a registered elector of Michigan. The hours are 6 a.m. until approximately 9 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Election Day. Attendance at a training session is also required.

Election Inspectors are paid $180 for the day and will receive an additional $15 for the required training session (approximately 1.5-2 hours).
