Celebrate Polish heritage at Farmington farmers market

A celebration of Polish culture comes to the next Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market, held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7.

Roll Out the Market begins with a special cultural blessing and includes Polish music and authentic Polish foods – pierogi, grilled sausage sauerkraut, kolaczki and more. Farmington Brewing Company will serve up Piwo, a Polish beer made from smoked wheat, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Performances by Lawrence Choraszewski on the accordion, 9 a.m.-11 a.m., Kielbasa Kings, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., and The Pruca Zajaczek Dance Ensemble will round out the day’s festivities.
