Celebrate new public art in downtown Farmington July 11

The Farmington Downtown Development Authority (DDA) will host a celebration on July 11, 4 p.m., for the new public art exhibit in Riley Park on Grand River.

The three David Barr sculptures – Temple, located at the Grand River park entrance, Avenue, on the west side of the park, and Shift, on the east side – are on loan from the City of Novi for a year.

Farmington Mayor Steven Schneemann, who was a close friend of the late sculptor, will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the Wednesday event.
