The City of Farmington Hills will celebrate Earth Day on April 22 by unveiling an expanded Nature Discovery Trail that will stretch between the Nature Center and Splash Pad in Heritage Park.
The trail features new interpretive signs based on paintings by local artist Molly McNeece and five new stations to spark curiosity and fuel hands-on learning.
Open from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., the event will include free family activities, live music, face painting, earth-friendly crafts, informational booths, giveaways and more. Local food trucks will have food for purchase, and the tractor will provide low-cost hayrides.
Heritage Park is located at 24915 Farmington Road. To learn more, call 248-477-1135.
