Breakfast gives Farmington area ‘Call to Action’

The 31st annual Farmington/Farmington Hills Call to Action Coalition community breakfast will be held Friday, October 4, at the Costick Center, 28600 W. 11 Mile Rd. in Farmington Hills.

Doors open at 7 a.m., with breakfast served at 7:15 a.m.

The event draws attention to National Substance Abuse Prevention Month. Learn how local public safety officials cope with substance abuse and domestic violence, and how you can help friends and family with those issues.

Keynote speaker is Craig Summers, Executive Director, Michigan High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area. Farmington Hills Police Chief Chuck Nebus, Farmington Public Safety Director Frank Demers, and Farmington Hills Fire Department EMS Coordinator Jim Etzin will also speak.
