The Farmington Hills Youth Theatre will hold auditions in August for its fall 2018 production of Disney’s beloved “Shrek”.
The tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking donkey, a feisty princess, and over a dozen fairy tale misfits will be performed November 15-18.
Experienced and new actors in grades 1-12, as well as adults, are invited to try out on Tuesday, August 21 or Thursday, August 23, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., or Saturday, August 25, 12 p.m.-6 p.m. at the Costick Center, 28600 W. 11 Mile Rd. in Farmington Hills.
Auditions are open to both residents and non-residents of Farmington Hills, and participants may drop in any time during audition hours. The process is easy and friendly, and no prior preparation is necessary. Participants should bring a recent photo; all other materials are supplied.
A free audition workshop will be offered on Tuesday, August 14, 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the Costick Center. No pre-registration is required.
