The August 5 Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market will feature live music, a chef’s demo, and a 10:30 a.m. performance from the Mid American Fitness Little Princess Ballet.
The weekly Saturday market, open from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., features Michigan produce, prepared foods, and artisan wares. Other August 5 highlights:
- Downtown Farmington Walkers: Meet at the compass rose at 9 a.m. for a one-mile walk around downtown Farmington
- Music: Acoustic rocker Gary Niemenski starts playing at 10 a.m. on the east side of Riley Park.
- Little Sprouts Kids Corner: A tent with fun activities for kids opens at 9 a.m.
- Challenge Butter Chef Demo: Chef Jeff Rose from CAYA (Come as you are) Smokehouse will cook up a dish you can sample. Look for the tent on the south side of the Walter E. Sundquist Farmington Pavilion.
