Artists invited to enter Farmington Library Star Wars contest

The Farmington Community Library invites artists of all ages to enter its Star Wars Art Contest, with the winning artist receiving a limited edition print of Boba Fett.

Submissions may be dropped off at the Main Library Information Desk, 32737 W. 12 Mile Rd. in Farmington Hills, through September 11 and will be unveiled at the Star Wars Art Gallery Opening on the evening of Thursday, September 12. The artwork remains on display September 13-30, and anyone can vote for their favorite piece.

In addition to the artist receiving the print by Jim Swearingen, creator of the first licensed Star Wars toys, the winning submission will be featured on the library’s social media accounts.

Submissions should include (on a separate sheet of paper) the artist’s name, phone number, email address, and the title of the submission. Art works may not weigh more than 100 pounds, may not be more than five feet by five feet in length and height, and may not be more than five inches deep.
