A club for kids ages 5 to 11 who want to explore nature are invited to join the Junior Naturalist Club, which meets monthly at the Farmington Hills Nature Center in Heritage Park.
Children will get to touch, smell, see, and hear all there is to experience in the outdoors and earn a key chain badge for each class they attend. After earning three badges, they’ll receive a prize.
Monthly themes include:
- September 14 - Water Wonders
- October 12 - Outdoor Skills
- November 9 – Animal Architects
- December 14 – Evergreens
The Junior Naturalist Club meets from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and is designed as a drop-off class inside the Nature Center. To register and learn more about fees, visit recreg.fhgov.com/ or visit the Costick Center, 28600 W. 11 Mile Rd.
