Young Farmington students headed to state HOSA event

Competing for the first time, students from all three Farmington Public Schools (FPS) middle schools last month earned a trip to the 2018 HOSA State Competition in March. 

Students from six Farmington schools participated in the health science program’s Regional Competition held December 1 at Novi High School. Middle school students were eligible to participate for the first time this year, and Farmington brought the only middle school teams at the competition. 

About, 1,000 Oakland County health science students competed in more than 50 events related to health science professions, emergency preparedness, leadership, and teamwork. These students received awards:

East Middle School
