A Tuesday morning water main break has closed some offices at Farmington City Hall and affected water service to residents in that area.
According to a nixle.com alert, the break in the area of Liberty Street south of Grand River shut off water to City Hall. The Public Safety Department and City Manager’s office are open, however, the Clerk’s Office and Treasurer’s Office are closed. No boil water alert has been issued.
(UPDATE) Water service was restored by early afternoon.
This is the fourth water main break in Farmington over the past week; previous areas affected included Grand River east of Grove Street, Wilmarth Street, and Glenview Drive.
