Michigan Gubernatorial Debate

The footage was provided by WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids and airs Thursdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 8 p.m.

Three Democrats — Gretchen Whitmer, Shri Thanedar and Abdul El-Sayed – and three Republicans Lt. Gov. Brian Calley, Attorney General Bill Schuette, and State Sen. Patrick Colbeck debated issues that ranged from the Flint water crisis to public education.

A fourth candidate, Republican Dr. Jim Hines, did not poll well enough to be included in the event.
