Truth Tour brings ‘Michigan Divided’ to Farmington on September 24

The Center for Michigan Truth Tour, featuring an interactive, mobile newsroom and showing of the documentary, “Michigan Divided,” will stop in Farmington on Monday, September 24.

Here’s the tour agenda:

Mobile Newsroom 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.

The mobile newsroom will be parked in front of the Farmington Community Library Downtown Branch where you can sign up for Bridge Magazine, play news games, meet Truth Dog, register to vote, and more. The Farmington Community Library is located at 23500 Liberty St, Farmington.

“Michigan Divided” Screening 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

The Center for Michigan’s Bridge Magazine spent the past year chronicling the lives of Michigan voters across the political spectrum. The hour-long “Michigan Divided” documentary captures our deeply divided culture, but also brings partisans together and illustrates how, at heart, there are also some values that are shared. The screening will be held at the Maxfield Education Center, 32789 W. 10 Mile Rd., Farmington. A group discussion will be held after the screening.

This event is held in partnership with the Farmington PTA Council.
