Up-and-coming country singer/songwriter Lisa Mary will perform at Stars in the Park, a free concert held Thursday, August 9 at 7 p.m. at the Costick Center, 28600 W. 11 Mile Rd. in Farmington Hills.
The concert was moved from its usual location in Heritage Park due to inclement weather.
This country girl from Sterling Heights recently played at the Grand Ole Opry and has opened concerts for some of country music’s biggest names including Toby Keith, LOCASH, Uncle Kracker, and Eric Paslay. With a four-and-a-half-octave vocal range, Lisa Mary is turning heads from industry professionals nationwide.
“As a kid, I dreamed of performing at The Grand Ole Opry. All of my heroes had performed in the Opry circle,” Lisa Mary said. “It was an honor performing at such an iconic venue in country music.”
At the concert on August 9, Lisa Mary & Band will perform a variety of covers and originals from her debut album “Everyone Has a Story to Tell.” Her new single “Burnout” debuted on the Iceman Show for New Country live from Nashville and landed at #22 on the Euro Academy of Country Music Chart.
