The Farmington Hills Center for Active Adults will host a celebration for National Senior Health and Fitness Day on Thursday, May 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Costick Center, 28600 W. 11 Mile Rd.
Participants may sample free fitness classes including pickle ball, strength training, gym exercise, and yoga. The event will also include a mini health fair featuring heart health screening, which includes blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose and stroke screening, as well as a diabetes and nutrition education table.
Senior Health and Fitness Day activities will be held in Conway Hall followed by a nutritious lunch. You must participate in five activities to receive the free lunch.
