Crazy Chestur will bring back the good old days of classic country and folk rock during the August 11 Rhythmz in Riley Park concert in downtown Farmington.
The music starts at 7:30 p.m., with an artist from Painting with a Twist creating a painting during the concert. The painting will be raffled in a drawing at the end of the concert.
Crazy Chestur released their first album “Harvest Party” in 2015. Featuring seven original compositions by Charlie Walmsley, the keyboardist and leader of the band, “Harvest Party” reached the number 10 spot on the Roots Music Report-Folk Album radio charts. This dynamic quintet features an acoustic guitar, drums, upright bass, a fiddle, and a keyboard with the perfect mixture of vibrant ambiance and vivacity.
Parking and seats fill up quickly, so come early and eat at or bring a carry out from one of the many unique restaurants in downtown Farmington and enjoy the free concert. If it rains, head over to the First United Methodist Church at 33112 Grand River Ave., across the street from Riley Park. No food or drink is allowed in the church.
