Register by July 9 to vote in August 7 primary

Anyone who plans to vote in the August 7, 2018 primary should register by Monday, July 9, 2018.

To register to vote, you must be all of the following:

  • A U.S. citizen
  • At least 18 years old by Election Day
  • A resident of Michigan
  • A resident of the city where you are applying

Not sure whether you’re registered? Visit michigan.gov/vote. City clerks in Farmington and Farmington Hills can also help you find out whether you’re registered and where you vote. You may also register at the Oakland County Clerk’s Office or any Secretary of State Branch Office.
