Paisley Fogg returns to downtown Farmington Jan. 19

The Paisley Fogg will headline the first in a monthly series of Friday Night Live concerts held January through April at the Farmington Civic Theater in downtown Farmington.

Taking the stage on January 19, 8 p.m., the Fogg will focus on the its original music with some familiar favorites from the British Invasion and American psychedelic era tossed in. The group is known for the familial harmonies of the Birchler brothers and polished guitar work.

Special guest Al Carmichael has been playing and writing music in Detroit for decades. He has one of those singing voices that is made for storytelling. Opening the evening will be Cesar Nowicki and Noel Dyde, both students at The Farmington School of Rock.

Upcoming concerts include Steve Taylor, Eric Smith and Alison Albrecht on February 9, Kubat, Finlay and Rose along with Scott Fab on March 9 and, on April 27, the Nashtown Songwriters Round featuring Byron Hill, who has written 34 Top 10 hits. Byron will be joined by Nashville’s Mark Barnowski, New York’s Rob Taube and Allie Louise from Rochester Hills.
