The deadline to submit a nomination for this year’s Volunteer Service Awards is February 23.
Farmington Area Commission on Aging and the City of Farmington Hills Special Services Department’s Adults 50 & Better Division will present these awards at the 2019 Annual Volunteer Breakfast:
- The Gold Award – presented to an individual 50 years or better who is a current active volunteer providing service in Farmington and/or Farmington Hills
- The Margaret Loridas Diamond Award – presented to an active volunteer 75 years or better
- Community Commitment Award – new this year, presented to a community-based organization or business that goes above and beyond to serve older adults of Farmington/Farmington Hills
The City of Farmington Hills is also seeking nominations for the Volunteer of the Year Award. Nominees must be active volunteers in the programs offered in the Adults 50 & Better Division.
