Learn about technical careers November 7 in Farmington Hills

High school students, parents, veterans, and career-changers are invited to learn more about technical careers during a November 7 event hosted by the Farmington Hills/Farmington Commission on Children, Youth & Families.

Held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Costick Center, 28600 W. 11 Mile Rd. in Farmington Hills, the Technical Career Night will feature electricians, HVAC professionals, plumbers, and representatives from the automotive and environmental sectors, who will share their career success stories. Representatives from Farmington Public Schools, Oakland Schools Technical Campuses, and Oakland Community College will talk about technical training.

For high school sophomores and juniors, help will be available with choosing classes to prepare for a technical career.
