Kenbrook fundraisers douse teacher with ice cream, toppings

Kenbrook Elementary students recently turned teacher David Hebert into a human ice cream sundae after topping a fundraising goal for the school’s annual Fun Run.

At the Farmington Hills school’s December 1 Community Meeting,  five students who raised the most money – Luis Cervantes, Chloe Beeler, Zackary English, Alex Ferguson, and Grant Tokarczyk – along with Jennifer Loney and Marlene Lindenberg, whose classes raised the most money, and principal Dr. Julie Kaminski were invited up on stage by PTA President Brandye Cobb.

The annual Fun Run, a Kenbrook PTA tradition, supports Kenbrook alumni scholarships, materials for the media center, classroom technology, and student enrichments.
