The Farmington Hills Nature Center’s Junior Naturalist Club offers two winter sessions designed to spur curiosity and physical activity in the outdoors through a hands-on environmental awareness program.
Children will get to touch, smell, see, and hear all aspects of the natural world during sessions held:
- February 10 – Owls
- March 10 – Maple Sugaring
The Junior Naturalist club, for ages 5 to 11, meets from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The program is designed as a drop-off class, and children should be dressed for the weather and exploring outdoors.
Walk-ins are welcome, but space is limited. Register online at https://recreg.fhgov.com or at the Costick Center, 28600 W. 11 Mile Rd. Call the Nature Center at 248-477-1135 or write to asmith@fhgov.com to learn more.
