Get your child’s car seat checked in Farmington Hills

Make sure your child’s car seat is property installed during an inspection event held on Sunday, August 12, at Fire Station #4 located at 28711 Drake Road.

Nationally-certified child safety seat technicians will check the child restraint for proper installation and possible recalls. The technicians will also teach parents or caregivers how to install and use the child restraint.

Car seat inspections are available by appointment only, from 8 a.m. to noon. They’re free, take about 30 to 45 minutes to complete, and participants do not have to be Farmington Hills residents.
