The five-day application window for families interested in sending children to Farmington STEAM Academy open on Monday, Jan. 22.
Farmington Public Schools’ only lottery-based School of Choice will grow from a K-7 to a K-8 building for the 2018-2019 school year. STEAM is an acronym for Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.
Interested families should attend an information session held Wednesday, Jan. 24, 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the school, 32800 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills.
Applications will open at farmington.k12.mi.us/fsa at 12:01 a.m. on January 22 and will close at midnight on January 26.
A private lottery will be held on Wednesday, January 31. Families will be notified of the results via email on February 16. Results will only be provided via email.
