Farmington Schools students move up in DECA competition

More than 100 Farmington Public Schools’ DECA students took part January 13 in the DECA District Conference, with 61 qualifying to compete at the state level in March.

DECA District Conferences give students the opportunity to compete in individual or team events by putting their marketing and business knowledge to the test. During the school year, DECA students take part in the organization’s competitive events, where they compete with one another at local and state competitions focusing on real-life business scenarios and project presentations designed to test students’ academic understanding and skills development.
