Farmington Planning Commission members will on Monday learn more about two projects that would bring new multi-family homes to the city.

Certainty Home Buyers proposes a Planned Unit Development with 12 condos on property at 22100 Hawthorne Street, just off Grand River. While the property is zoned for single family homes, it is currently home to a collection of three buildings, each with four, one-bedroom apartments.

Leo Soave is proposing a 3-unit townhome project on the west side of a vacant property at 32057 Grand River. Plans call for the parking lot fronting Grand River, with the townhomes set back from the roadway and adjacent to a wetland.

The meeting agenda, with supporting materials that include draft plans for both projects, is posted at farmgov.com/City-Services/Government/Agendas-and-Minutes/Planning/2019.aspx.
