Farmington Hills residents may weigh in on parks Master Plan

Farmington Hills residents have the opportunity over the next 30 days to review and comment on the city’s Parks & Recreation Master Plan.

The plan, completed every five years, helps to chart the course for future needs and also makes the city eligible for funding through the state’s Department of Natural Resources. It provides a road map for the parks, recreation, facilities, and programming decisions made by the Special Services Department.

A public hearing on the plan will be held on January 14, 2019. It is available at the Costick Center, 28600 W. 11 Mile Rd., Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays. The Plan may also be viewed in the “Latest News” section at fhgov.com.
