Farmington, Hills police plan to treat kids for Halloween

Farmington Public Safety and Farmington Hills Police officers will have treats on hand for youngsters out celebrating Halloween on October 31.

Two Farmington Public Safety officers will patrol Farmington neighborhoods starting at 6 p.m. to hand out glow necklaces and bags of snacks provided by Fresh Thyme Farmers Market in downtown Farmington.

In Farmington Hills, Police Department headquarters at 31655 W. 11 Mile Rd. will be open, with candy at the Command Desk for trick-or-treaters. Patrol officers will also have treats in their vehicles.
