Farmington Hills police offer internet safety seminar for adults

A June 26 seminar at Farmington Hills Police Department will offer Farmington Hills parents an opportunity to learn about internet safety.

Hosted by the Department’s Crime Prevention Section, “Internet Safety for Parents” starts at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at Farmington Hills City Hall, 31555 W. 11 Mile Rd.

Parents will find out about the latest phone apps being used by teens and will receive detailed information on the potential dangers of misusing social media.

Because of the mature nature of the information presented, no one under age 18 will be admitted. Light refreshments will be served.
