Farmington Hills Police event focuses on scam prevention

The Crime Prevention Section of the Farmington Hills Police Department will host a March 27 seminar on the topic of “Common Scams and How to Avoid Becoming a Victim.”

The event will take place at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at Farmington Hills City Hall, 31555 W. 11 Mile Rd. Crime Prevention Technicians will discuss the most common scams, provide details on the latest financial hoaxes, and show how to avoid falling prey to scammers.
