Farmington Hills-based NRM Streamcast, a digital streaming entertainment network launched in March, last week added former Lansing mayor Virg Bernero to its digital lineup of programming.

Live-streamed on Thursdays from 12-1 p.m., The Virg Bernero Show will be available for download distribution on the network site nrmstreamcast.com, the NRM Streamcast mobile app, and at thevirgshow.com.

With a public service career that spans more than three decades, Bernero was the 2010 Democratic nominee for Michigan Governor.

Dubbed “America’s Angriest Mayor” by CNN, Bernero said he’s “ready to talk about the issues that matter to everyday Americans head-on. Some people may hate what I have to say, some people may love it. One thing is for sure, I won’t be pulling any punches.”

“We are beyond excited to add Virg to our program lineup,” said Tom Athans, Chief Programming Officer at NRM Streamcast. “Virg has a national reputation as a passionate advocate for working Americans and he has a unique way of speaking truth to the issues people really care about. His style of politics will add a breath of fresh air in the current political talk landscape.”

Bernero’s show joins about a dozen offered by NRM Streamcast, on topics that range from the Detroit Lions and “Baseball, Mainly” to pop culture and entertainment. In addition to the website and app, shows stream via Roku, Apple TV, FireTV, Android TV, Spotify and Stitcher.
