Students ages 6 to 12 can discover outdoor skills like fire building, campfire cooking, animal tracking, snowshoeing, building snow shelters, orienteering, and more during a Winter Survival Camp held February 19 and 20 at the Nature Center inside Heritage Park in Farmington Hills.
Held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days, the drop-off program also offers extended care. The majority of the camp will be held outdoors, and campers should also bring a bag lunch.
Registration is required by February 12 at the Costick Center or http://recreg.fhgov.com.
