Farmington Farmers Market launches POP program for kids

The Power of Produce (POP) children’s program launched July 14 at the Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market.

Kids had the opportunity to earn “POP bucks,” with which they could purchase fresh produce from market vendors.

The program received a boost from the Farmington/Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth and Families, with matching funds contributed by Judge Asset Management, Peterlin’s Restaurant, local Realtor Erika Skrabut, and Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills.
