Farmington Farmers Market features live music, chef demo

Chef Lois Hennessey created a 25th anniversary cake for the Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market.

This week’s Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market happens alongside Art on the Grand, the community’s annual juried arts festival.

Open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Walter E. Sundquist Farmington Pavilion, the Saturday market will feature live music by Gia Warner and an 11 a.m. chef’s demo with Chef Lois Hennessey and Chef Barb Nunnold from Oakland Community College Culinary Arts.

Grand River is closed from Grove Street to Farmington Road for Art on the Grand. Market parking is available at Village Commons mall, located a block east of Grove Street.
