Family fun, new vendors and more at Farmington farmers market

A family-friendly nature presentation, live music, and a mix of local growers, producers, and artists are all on tap for the Saturday, Aug. 3 Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market in downtown Farmington.

Open from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Walter E. Sundquist Pavilion and Riley Park, this week’s market welcomes Oakland County Parks’ “Discoveries of Nature” and musician Mike Freeman, both entertaining at 10 a.m. Farmington Presbyterian Preschool hosts the Little Sprouts Corner.

Among this week’s vendors, Charley Odie returns with his blade sharpening equipment, and new vendor Curry Fresh brings original gourmet sauces.
