HHS Special Education Benefit
Harrison High School (HHS) hosts its seventh and final HHS Special Education benefit.
What started out as one student’s small project in the Buddies Learning Together program has grown to include dancing, raffles, 50/50, games, food, and fun. Buddies Learning Together, an elective class, pairs general education students with special education students. Together, they attend classes such as dance, art, marketing, or spend time working in the school store, baking cookies and stocking chips.
The event is open to the public, and District special education students get in free. This year, students have chosen Farmington Special Olympics as the recipient of funds raised during the event.
