December concerts fill Farmington Hills libraries with music

Starting with a concert during downtown Farmington’s Holly Days, Farmington and Farmington Hills libraries will host four musical events during December:

Shamrock Shore and Inis Ceole

Saturday, Dec. 2, 2 p.m., Farmington branch meeting room. Hear the finest traditional Irish pub music and other classics.

Songwriter Sunday: John D. Lamb

Sunday, Dec. 3, 2 p.m., Main Library Auditorium. With a laid-back, made-in-Detroit drawl, Lamb exhibits songwriting finesse with simple, evocative tunes and catchy melodies.

Holiday Concert with Lorelei

Sunday, Dec. 10, 2 p.m., Main Library Auditorium. Maggie McCabe, Tracy Kash, Chris McCall and Mary Kay Hill perform a delightful concert of traditional and original holiday music.

Holiday Community Sings with Matt Watroba

Tuesday, Dec. 19, 7 p.m., Main Library Auditorium. Matt will compile lyrics of a variety of holiday songs and project them on a screen while he plays guitar and leads the singalong.
