City officials will consider a redevelopment liquor license application Monday for a “cigar bar” on Grand River in downtown Farmington.
Loft Cigars is owned by Farmington Hills resident Donovan Singleton. According to a letter accompanying his application, the establishment will have an 8-seat bar and total seating for 50 patrons. It will open at 10 a.m. seven days a week and close at 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and midnight on Friday and Saturday.
Singleton expects to spend $75,000 renovating the space at 33425 Grand River, a requirement of the redevelopment liquor license.
The full agenda for the 7 p.m. city council meeting is posted at farmgov.com.
