Chamber hosts Farmington Schools millage info session

The Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Thursday, Oct. 19 informational question and answer session on the Headlee Restoration Millage Proposal with Farmington Public Schools Superintendent George Heitsch.

The session is designed to provide information and answer questions regarding the millage proposal, which will appear on the Nov. 7 ballot. This authorization will restore the authority of the Farmington Public School District to levy 18.00 mills previously authorized for general operating purposes and increase the prior authority by 1 mill in the event of future rollbacks of the same amount.

The event will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the Farmington High School Media Center, 32000 Shiawassee in Farmington. Coffee and bagels will be provided.
