Historic artifacts, hands-on activities, and live demonstrations are all part of the free, annual Heritage Celebration, held Friday, September 14, at Heritage Park in Farmington Hills.
From 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., step into the past and take a peek inside the historic Red Barn. Hayrides showcasing the history of Heritage Park, available for $5 per person or free for children under age 2, will include marshmallows and cider around a campfire.
Pre-registration at the Costick Center, 28600 W. 11 Mile Rd., or https://recreg.fhgov.com is strongly recommended as seating is limited for each hayride.
The park is located at 24915 Farmington Road. To learn more, call 248-477-1135 or write to firstname.lastname@example.org.
