Boogie Woogie Kid plays Farmington Hills library

Attorney-turned-musician Matthew Ball, also known as the Motor City Boogie Woogie Kid, will perform September 16 at the Farmington Community Library Main Library in Farmington Hills.

Ball’s music videos posted to YouTube have been viewed more than four million times. His toe-tappin’, family-friendly program of piano and song celebrates the music of New Orleans and Swing with favorites like “In the Mood,” “Ain’t Misbehavin,” “Basin Street Blues,” “Bumble Boogie,” and more.

The one-hour concert starts at 3 p.m. in the library Auditorium. Admission is free. For more information, visit farmlib.org.
