More than 30 Farmington/Farmington Hills students learned more about careers in law enforcement June 30, during the Farmington Hills Police Department’s Youth Career Day. Co-hosted by Farmington Youth Assistance, the event was held at the Farmington Hills Police Department. Kids ages 8 to 18 worked side by side with evidence technicians to lift fingerprints, experienced the Multiple Interactive Learning Objectives (MILO) training simulation system, watched a K-9 police dog demonstration, and spoke with police officers one-on-one.
