Farmington Hills Holocaust museum hosts ‘Refusing to Choose’

The Holocaust Memorial Center in Farmington Hills will host “Refusing to Choose: LGBTQ, Jewish and Pro-Israel,” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 26.

The event is presented by A Wider Bridge, which is building a movement of LGBTQ people and allies, Jews and non-Jews, with a strong interest in and commitment to Israel and its LGBTQ community.

Speakers will include Laurie Grauer, who was banned from the Chicago Dyke March for carrying Jewish Pride Flags, Rabbi Arnie Sleutelberg, Rabbi Emeritus of Congregation Shir Tikvah, and Rabbi Becca Walker, Senior Jewish Educator of MSU Hillel.

This event is free to attend. An optional tour begins at 6:30 p.m.
