The Farmington Hills Police Department, working with the FBI Oakland County Gang and Violent Crime Task Force, arrested Deshawn Lionel Browning, 34, Tuesday in the City of Detroit. According to a press release, he has also confessed to a third bank robbery in Southfield.

Police say Browning handed tellers notes demanding money during the robberies of Bank of America, 29590 Middlebelt, in May, and Chase Bank, 26029 Middlebelt, in June. In both incidents, he was given money and then ran away.

Investigators from the Farmington Hills Police Department, working with the FBI Oakland County Gang and Violent Crime Task Force, investigated both robberies.

Browning was arraigned Wednesday at the 47th District Court in Farmington Hills. Judge James Brady set bond at $50,000 cash or surety and set a preliminary exam on September 27.
