Farmington city council meets

Monday, Sept. 18, 6 p.m. special meeting, 7 p.m. regular meeting, 23600 Liberty St., Farmington. The special meeting agenda includes a review more proposals for the former 47th District Court property. League of Women Voters Farmington City Council Candidate Forum

Tuesday, Sept. 19, 7 p.m., Farmington City Hall, 23600 W. Liberty St. Five candidates for three open seats will answer questions from the audience.

Great Lakes Island Escapes

Thursday, Sept. 21, 7 p.m., Farmington Community Library Main Library, 32737 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills.
