More than 100 artists and craftspeople will arrive in downtown Farmington June 2 and 3 for Art on the Grand.
The juried festival features an array of high-quality art with a variety of price ranges and categories including jewelry, painting, pottery, photography, glass, leather, and sculpture.

Kids Art Alley returns this year, featuring more than 40 young local artists in grades 3 through 12 who will be on hand to talk about and sell their own creations. The showcase, which will also feature a community mural and an upcycled DIY art activity, will be located between Sunflour Bakehaus and Grace Insurance, and across Grand River to The Vines and The Rocking Horse.
Other activities for kids will include Detroit Institute of Arts hands-on crafts, face painting, henna art, hair braiding, spin art, sandy candy, and more.
Art on the Grand will be open Saturday, June 2 from 10 a.m.to 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 3 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Arrive early on Saturday to visit the weekly Farmington Farmers & Artisans Market in Riley Park, which is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
